Listed below are the websites for several groups that do advocacy for national policies that are more reflective of our concern for peace and justice.  They each offer quick and easy ways to contact national policy makers about critical social issues.  Visit any of them to see how you can make your voice heard.

20/20 Vision - gives citizens the information they need to get involved on important issues like reducing air pollution from cars and power plants, keeping dangerous pesticides out of our food, limiting nuclear arms and banning biological weapons. Monthly alerts tell you how to contact politicians and corporate officials and quickly and easily tell them you’re watching them on an urgent issue.

Bread for the World - is a nationwide Christian citizens’ movement seeking justice for the world's hungry people by lobbying our nation's decision makers.

Center of Concern - works to explore and analyze the global issues and social structures from an ethical perspective based on Catholic Social Teaching.  They also work to become involved in strategies and projects that promote the good of the entire global community and the integrity of every individual.  They offer a wide range of resources including prayers and articles relating to social justice.

Co-op America - has a mission to harness economic power - the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace - to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society.  They offer action ideas for personal and systemic change, publications, and many other green resources.

Environmental Defense - is dedicated to protecting the environmental rights of all people, including future generations. Among these rights are clean air and water, healthy and nourishing food, and a flourishing ecosystem.

The Maryknoll Office of Global Concerns - works with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, other national Catholic groups and other organizations and communities working for peace, social justice and the integrity of creation. They bring the voice and experience of Maryknoll into policy discussions in the United Nations, the U.S. and other governments, international financial institutions and the corporate world.

NETWORK - a national Catholic social justice lobby, is a progressive voice within the Catholic community calling for peace and economic justice in our nation and the world.
