Pastoral Associate for Christian Service

St. Joseph Catholic Community, Eldersburg, Maryland, a vibrant, progressive Marianist community of 3,000 families seeks an energetic individual to join our staff June 1 as Pastoral Associate for Christian Service.

Responsibilities include:

*Coordinating the ministries of the Christian Service Commission (CSC).

*Planning spiritual and service formation opportunities for the CSC and the parish.

*Acting as liaison with parish and local interfaith organizations.

Qualifications:

*Spirit-filled, active Catholic with sound working knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching.

*Excellent leadership and communication skills.

*Must be able to attend evening and weekend meetings and events.

*Minimum of 5 years applicable experience; degree preferred; basic computer skills.
