I will pray daily for immigrants and for the moral courage
of elected leaders to pass reform legislation. |
|
|
I will volunteer at least 5 times at an English as a
Second Language program or immigration legal clinic. |
 |
I will talk to 5 friends, co-workers, relatives or parishioners
to open their minds about immigration reform. |
 |
I will host a house party featuring a film about immigration
and invite 4 or more friends, co-workers or
parishioners who have reservations about reform. |
 |
I will organize a couple of friends concerned about
immigration to meet with my House Representative
(or staff) in her or his local office. |
 |
I will write a letter to the editor in support of immigration
reform or against local anti-immigration proposals. |
 |
I will call or email my Representative and/or one of
my 2 US Senators once a month to ask them to
pass just and humane immigration reform legislation. |
 |
I will join the MSJC Racial and Immigrant Justice Team
to help organize and coordinate the Marianist Family actions
on the issue of immigration. |
