Title:
Justice for Immigrants: One Border, One Body
Begin:
7/24/2010 2:00 PM
End:
7/24/2010 3:30 PM
Description:
An opportunity to reflect on and discuss what Catholic Social Teaching asks of us in relation to the hopes of immigrants.
This workshop will include a video, “One Border, One Body”, that tells the story of a Eucharistic ritual that unites people despite the political boundaries which divide them. Amidst a desert of death and a culture of fear, the film testifies to God’s universal, undivided and unrestricted love for all people. We will focus on understanding better how we as Marianists and Catholics, in light of Catholic Social Teaching, are called to
respond to the immigration issue today.
Afternoon session only.  Sign-up for this workshop at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RZPKWKN
