The ASJP Urban Immersion for young adults
occurs Oct. 6-8, 2006 in Washington, DC. We ask
your prayers and good thoughts for the
23 participants who will gather for our
weekend of reflection, sharing and service as we
explore social justice through the lens of the
Marianist charism and the example of Adèle.

The budding Marianist Family in Haiti has
expressed interest in working together with MSJC to
address social justice issues in that country. Fr. Ted
Cassidy will be the liaison with Haitian contact
Jean-Rony François.
The Steering Committee has received a proposal
to establish a new issue team focused on the justice
issues related to homosexuality. They agreed to
establish an ad-hoc committee to further explore the
issues. The committee will recommend a course of
action at our annual meeting in January.
