Adele Days

Happy Birthday Adele! The Adele Social Justice Project invite you to add "Adele Days" to your holiday calendar.

Celebrated January 10 and June 10 on the anniversary of founder Adele de Batz de Trenquelleon's death and birth, Adele Days are a chance to celebrate and be inspired by Adele's spirit of joy, friendship, and commitment to service with all God's people.

The first ASJP Adele day in January 2010 saw celebrations from Texas to North Carolina to Ohio and beyond.  Faith, fellowship, funds and food were shared.  Thank you to all for supporting our next weekend in Indianapolis and presentation at the Lay Marianist Continental Assembly in July with your time, talent and treasure.

This Adele day, gather with friends and family and have:
  • a day of service or reflection
  • a letter writing party to those in power
  • small faith group get together - Here's a sample prayer service based on ASJP alumni resources
  • translate ASJP resources into other languages
  • a party with a purpose
  • and more ideas...

Party for a purpose and consider taking funds that would have otherwise been spent on a night out and donating to ASJP or other Marianist groups doing Adele's work.  For more information download the PDF flyer or join us on Facebook to find a community near you.
